Training – changes in the Criminal Procedure Code

At the invitation of the Mission of the European Union in Kosovo for Rule of Law – EULEX, Av. Artan Qerkini from the Association of Lawyers “Sejdiu&Qerkini” was a trainer in the two-day training for about 70 lawyers, who are members of the Chamber of Lawyers of Kosovo in the region of Mitrovica.
The purpose of this training was to deal with changes to the Criminal Procedure Code with sessions on specific issues, such as:

• Judgment in absentia
• Sequestration and confiscation
• Public access to the indictment and publication of the judgment
• Mandatory protection
• Defense with public expenditure
• The investigation
• Sentencing hearing
