Burim Azemi is an Attorney who has been practicing law as part of “Sejdiu&Qerkini” L.L.C. since 2022, whereas before attaining his licence he was part of the firm as an Associate since late 2018.
Before joining “Sejdiu&Qerkini”, from March 2018 Mr. Azemi worked as a legal clerk at the Basic Court Prishtina, firstly at the Serious Crimes Department, and afterwards at the Special Department. This involvement stemmed from a project of the United States Department of State through the International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs – INL, aimed at supporting courts and recent law graduates.
Mr. Azemi was also involved as an intern at the University of Prishtina, wherein he was responsible for administrative as well as legal work. From March 2017 to July 2017, he worked as legal counsel for the non-governmental organisation “Labyrinth”, where he handled legal matters of the organisation and worked closely with the organisation’s lawyers. Simultaneously, he aided this organisation in legal research and training.
With his wide range of experience, Mr. Azemi has gained a reputation as a zealous representative of clients’ rights in the court room and beyond. In that regard, he offers clients legal services primarily in civil law, representing them in court but also in regulatory and transactional matters.
In addition to Albanian, he is also fluent in English and German.
