Dior Zhuri is a Senior Associate in the corporate and commercial practice of Sejdiu & Qerkini, advising companies and investors on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, banking and financial regulation, commercial contracts, competition and corporate restructuring. He joined S&Q in 2019, at a very young age and now manages the largest portfolio of commercial clients at the firm, handling the full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters they require, from day-to-day counsel to complex transactions and contentious disputes.
In recent mandates, Mr. Zhuri co-led buy-side due diligence and transaction drafting on international and domestic acquisitions under parallel Kosovan and foreign regulatory regimes, negotiated commercial contracts and competition-sensitive arrangements for corporate clients, and advised on corporate restructurings involving asset disposals and transnational lending. In parallel, he conducts complex corporate and commercial litigation before the Commercial Court of Kosovo and represents clients in constitutional proceedings before the Constitutional Court, including strategic and appellate matters of precedential weight. Across these mandates, he serves as principal point of contact for corporate clients, leading workstreams.
He deepened his practice in the City of London at Raymond Saul Solicitors, supporting high-profile M&A, restructuring and settlement work on cross-border deals.
Instrumental to the growth of the firm’s transactional and disputes practice, Mr. Zhuri holds an LL.M. with honours in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London, completed an exchange semester focused on business law at the Université Paris X Nanterre, and was named a Distinguished Student by the University of Prishtina for his LLB studies, marking him as one of the market’s most promising next-generation corporate practitioners.
In addition to his native Albanian, Mr. Zhuri is also fluent in English and proficient in Serbian.
